Historical Jesus vs Chalcedonian definition: The problem of Christ’s ignorance

چکیده
Some of the sayings Jesus show that he did not possess omniscience. But this is incompatible with Chalcedonian definition according to which in Christ divine and human natures are united one person. Traditional theology has therefore concluded Christ’s ignorance was only apparent. However, studies historical proved as man really know time end world his Second Coming. Moreover, expected these events come very near future. The article shows arguments scholars so conclusive incompatibility gospel testimonies can be considered a well-established fact. These results New Testament fundamentally change situation modern Christian theology: literal understanding formula became now difficult, but impossible. possible way describe unity Christ.
